Friday's always good to end fridays

Was great to googlechat with Susie today, we covered a range of topics from photos to buying a car and everything in between. Was great, helps us to feel that bit closer. Hope the next lesson went to plan - I shall upload a bunch of photos early next week, will get the baby photos out...... that will be cute.......

Australia has lost two favourite sons this week firstly 'the croc hunter' Steve Irwin on Monday to a barb in the chest from a stinray. Doing what he loved best - getting out in the wild....... and secondly today, at the young age of 61 'Brockie' Peter Brock was killed driving in a motor ralley in Western Australia ........ - the news is hazy and still coming through - but sadness across the nation for these two men and their loved ones.......

I downloaded Mikes HSC timetable today, so that we both have a copy. ..... His exams start 20October and finish 10November..... so not long to go now...... We will go from Mikes birthday to Janets birthday and the HSC will be all done and dusted.

Mondays

Beautiful day in Sydney - bright blue skies - too good to be inside. Mike left his house keys in the car - oops - better go drop them off for him. I had a change of routine this morning and had just painted my nails before leaving home, so asked Mike to drive, when we changed over drivers he didn't collect his keys - were on the dash - no worries. I shall get a message to him.

Filled up the car with petrol - prices down a bit 126.9 c per litre. On my way to work it was 138.9 c per litre...... go figure......

Having a great day, lots of work on my desk......

Saturday Hockey Semi, Tennis, Fathers Day

What a weekend, Hockey semi final, Mike had to travel to Pennant Hills, got a lift with James, they had a 12:30 game, hot day, 28 degrees, too hot for hockey, the guys went down 2/1, they were up against it as they had only one reserve and he was crook. Bad luck guys you had a funny season, one I think Mike would rather forget after landing in hospital with a broken nose and out for half the season. You will be ready for a fresh start next year..... We can concentrate on the Swannies finals campaign now..... The first semi in the west against West Coast next saturday night....we will be decked out in our RednWhite. To cheer cheer the red and the white.......
Tennis was tough for me on the weekend - we won only just but I took one for the team in the mixed and ended up with a bruised hand and then again in the second mixed collided with Glenn he is 6foot 4 and I'm 5foot4 ...ouch....sore ribs knee.... The beer helped at the end of match along with a long hot bath ...took out the aches and pains.....
Sunday was Fathers Day, Mike took his Dad out for lunch, he was very plased with himself, First time he drove over to his dads on his own - and off to Miranda they went - enjoyed lunch and hung out together.... I in the meantime wasn't allowed to go home alone after church, Leonie and family made me go home with them and it was really lovely....It was a great day.......
