Tennis Update Saturday

Well the funny thing is........ We were to have this grudge match. Getting ready, match starts at 1pm (goes all afternoon). Ready to leave its 12noon. Phone rings......brrr brrr
brrr brrrr 'ello, it's the competition Secretary. The long and the short of it is that they the other team rang the competition Secretary informing that their team would forfeit todays match. So we win on a forfeit......... bit of a let down really, we were going to win, and win very well.

This now allows me to take Mike to hockey and watch him play his grade match. And you know I would prefer to be watching him play.......it is very exciting to get involved in his game.

Tennis this weekend

This weekend is the big grudge match with this yucky team that we always seem to have problems with.

Two meetings ago they complained at one of our guys (John) and he ended up being suspended for 4 matches. Time passes and we have a return match. At our last meeting one of their guys slips up and swears so we complain and the poor guy is outed for 6 weeks, this is very tough on him. So now we are up to tomorrow and we meet again. Oh gooodie. Stay tuned for the result. Rain is forecast.

Thursday Night Connect

Last night Jen came for dinner, I cooked a lovely meal, was very creative, pork fillet yummmmm.

Our Connect group was held at Jeannette's home, there were five of us, Jen, Sharon, Pam, Jeannette and me. It was a good night.

I think I am getting the hang of how to post entries to my blog. I can only get better at this. It's fun.
